The Women in Math Exhibit at the Exploratorium is a meaningful way to celebrate Women’s History Month this March. Running from March 1–31, the exhibit features profiles placed throughout the museum honoring both historic and modern women who’ve shaped math and math education, each thoughtfully paired with an interactive exhibit to bring their impact to life.
Visitors can learn about pioneers like Ada Lovelace, Katherine Johnson, Maryam Mirzakhani, Grace Hopper, and Mariel Vázquez, whose work continues to influence science, technology, and education today. It’s a thoughtful, inspiring experience for all ages and a great reason to spend an afternoon exploring one of San Francisco’s most engaging museums.
