2026 Hearts in San Francisco

  • San Francisco, CA, 94105 United States (map)

Hearts in San Francisco is one of those programs that truly captures the spirit of the city. This beloved public art project brings together local artists, community members, and supporters to raise critical funds for Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, San Francisco’s only public hospital.

Each year, one-of-a-kind heart sculptures, designed by Bay Area artists, are displayed throughout the city for everyone to enjoy. After the exhibition, the hearts are auctioned to support ZSFG, turning art into real, meaningful impact for our community.

For more than 20 years, these iconic sculptures have symbolized San Francisco’s commitment to compassionate, equitable healthcare. To date, Hearts in SF has raised over $40 million, helping provide care to more than 100,000 neighbors each year, many of whom are underinsured or uninsured.

It’s art with purpose, and a reminder of what’s possible when a city shows up for its people.
